There is nothing I respect more than people giving back to the design industry that has given us the opportunity to do what we love every day. Especially, when it involves recognizing women who have achieved greatness in their careers.
Julianne Taylor, founder of Taylor Burke Home, is not only a leader in product design and interiors, but has spent the last few years accumulating the wonderful stories of women who inspire her. DesignHER is a beautiful book, not only for its glamorous photos, but for celebrating the struggles, joys and success stories of talented woman in the design community.
I am deeply honored to be featured, alongside my partner in crime Lori Dennis, for creating Design Campus – the largest summit and online platform for continued education for design professionals.
Other amazing women featured are Stacy Kunstel, whose love story was the secret to Dunes and Duchess.
And Roxy Te Owens, the mastermind behind the colorful Society Social, who gives us her secret to success.
To celebrate the woman featured in DesignHER and the book’s launch in February 2016, there will be a pre-release party at High Point Market, October 17th (5:30-7:30pm).
